She has no right to be an ass to Tails, like she did, just because she so happens to be a bit better with mechanics than he is. That's two girls that were fucking assholes to Tails: Fiona and Wave.
The reason Wave is a jerk to Tails is because even though she is a better mechanic, she feels threatened by his skills and uses his personality/young age to her advantage by teasing him. And she doesn't just single Tails out, she treats everyone that way, including her teammate. So she isn't just picking on Tails.
